Join us! It is SKETCH week at The Paper Players. Ann is challenging us to use the sketch above in our cards. Ann describes the sketch as having two sections on the front, one larger than the other. Keep the circle, or make it any shape you want.
I am trying so hard to use up a bunch of my miscellaneous paper and envelopes. So all of the DSP used is from an unidentifiable paper pad that is now finished up! The Happy Birthday circle die is an oldie but goodie. I added a present to the center (more of the same DSP) with layered glittery bows from C&9th, foam mounted.
Continuing with my New Year's resolution, I made five additional cards for donation to Little Birthday Angels, a local agency who ensures every child, who might not otherwise, has a birthday celebration.
Check out our fabulous guest designers as well as the rest of the design team. These ladies work hard to inspire you each week. Drop by their blogs and leave them a little love.

Elizabeth, this card is SO cute! This paper is precious. It has a wee bit of a retro vibe that I love. The circular Happy Birthday die cut is awesome. And what can I say about the big, beautiful, sparkly bow? WOW! I LOVE all of your cards. Thank you for making my challenge shine! Have a wonderful week!
SO cute...the papers are adorable and that Happy Birthday diecut stands out perfectly! I would love to know your secret for getting it to STICK without getting glue or adhesive everywhere!
You do own some DSP! I was wondering. :-)
This is very cute. The die cut is superb - lot of fun and the addition of the present makes it even better.
Elizabeth, this is such a fun birthday card! That is the cutest DSP! The sparkly bow on the gift adds so much detail! Such a great take on the sketch!
Elizabeth these birthday cards are delightful - I love that fun, colourful circus-themed paper! great for a child's birthday celebration for sure.
Don't you love using up old patterned paper? This one, with the sweet critters and circus theme is absolutely delightful as is that fun sparkly bow. Terrific cards, Elizabeth and they will certainly brighten a child's day!
How adorable. Love the designer paper and the Happy Birthday framing the present is so fun.
Elizabeth, that paper is just fabulous. I couldn't stop looking at all those images. I also love how you added the star paper and then framed the present with the cutout. Such a wonderful, bright card
