Lovely Lisa is hosting WORD week at Just Us Girls. This week, the word to incorporate is BEE. I made a sweet encouragement card for my ongoing donation to Friends After Diagnosis. The bees and sentiment were stamped then sent through a beehive embossing folder. Unfortunately my embossing folder is one of the very early embossing folders so the design does not cover an A2 panel. So the panel was trimmed to fit the design and mounted on a kraft A2 panel. Greta Hess is our fabulous guest designer for August. Please welcome her and check out her fabulous work at GG Creations!
Also check out the design team. These ladies work hard to inspire you each week. Drop by their blogs and leave them a little love.
Enjoy! I am looking forward to your inspired creations in the gallery.

Fun stamping with the honeycomb background
First, I love that you used the colors of a bee for the colors of the card. The honeycomb texture is fabulous and the bees on an angle are so eye-catching. Then there is the fabulous sentiment...sure to bring a smile to the recipient where you donate them. FAB card Elizabeth!
Great sentiment, Elizabeth, and your card design is perfect with it.
Elizabeth, What a fabulous sentiment and fun design!
So wonderful!
What a beautiful sentiment, Elizabeth! I like that you added the bees on an angle. This is a marvelous card!
This card is sweet as honey! I love that sentiment with your beautiful embossed and stenciled background! That kraft base was the perfect choice for this.
From the beehive embossed, to the stamped bees, to the sentiment, your card is bee-utiful! What a great way to highlight this week's theme.

Such a fun card Elizabeth with all those pretty bees and background. Love the sentiment.
I absolutely love that sentiment! Perfect for the group you’re sending it to. I really like the honeycomb embossing too. I thought I had that folder, but I didn’t! Beautiful card!
