This week, Christmas Card Throwdown is challenging us to use paper piecing in our cards. So a couple years ago, a crafty friend gave me my first Tim Holtz Sizzix layered die. Not sure what you really call these sets. But there are LOTS of small pieces to assemble to create the final result, in this case Santa's bag of toys. You can choose to use small scraps of colored cardstock or you could cut all the pieces from white cardstock and color. Either way, these paper pieced creations are so fun to put together.
I added a die cut stamped sentiment on top of the bag, and set all on a patterned paper cardbase.
Be sure to drop by and see the inspiration cards made by all the design team members and leave them some love!
Enjoy. I can't wait to see your creations in the gallery.

Aww, how cute! What a painstaking job it must have been to put all those little pieces together...
