This week at The Paper Players, we are working with the colors BLUE, SILVER and either WHITE or BLACK. I combined the Paper Player colors with the Retro Rubber OMBRE challenge. The ombre on my stenciled background is subtle. I used three shades of blue distress oxide: Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch, and Prize Ribbon.
I should note that it is 2.19am Wednesday. I just watched the Artemis launch from my backyard. Absolutely amazing. The northern horizon glowed orange on takeoff, within seconds we were able to see Artemis' glowing orb. Artemis was visible for almost five mins and actually looked like it was headed to the moon.
Enjoy.

I love your use of vellum behind the sentiment. The shades of blue are delightful! How cool you got to see the launch!
Wow, Elizabeth! I LOVE your stenciled background. It is so striking and provides a wonderful backdrop for the gorgeous bold sentiment. The old science teacher wishes I could have joined you for the launch. How amazing that must have been!!! Thank you so much for playing with The Paper Players this week!
Eliz - I love that strong background - the blue just makes those snowflakes pop and the sentiment on vellum is a fabulous idea and works so well Oh... the geek in me would have loved to have been in your backyard watching Artemis. As a computer engineer, I am still amazed that we ever got man to the moon on the technology we had back then! :-) Thanks for joining us again this week at The Paper Players
