Freshly Made Sketches #535 - A Sketch by Amy & Color Throwdown #692

This week at Freshly Made Sketches we are working with a sketch featuring a central image on the right side of the card with a horizontal stripe and flag running across the card.  I am combining this sketch with this week's colors at Color Throwdown, PURPLE, PINK and GOLD.  This week Joanne James  introduced me to an idea I had never thought of... die cutting DSP to get beautiful flowers.  I went to Michaels hoping to find the a beautiful floral watercolor, instead I found watercolor ephemera.  Easy and beautiful.  I think these die cuts will be a new staple in my craft room.

Enjoy!

Wow! Your floral design is absolutely amazing, Elizabeth! Those purple flowers are stunning and I love the gold strip that adds such a classy touch. Thanks so much for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches.
