This week at Christmas Card Throwdown, we have a technique challenge: PAPER PIECING. I used to paper piece all the time but the technique fell off with the introduction of more and more dies. I forgot how much work paper piecing can be. I love to fussy cut and rarely buy outline dies but stamping and cutting the small bits for each section of the tree was work. I was so happy to do it... paper piecing makes great use of your scraps and the end result is lovely.
