This week's photo inspiration at
Retro Rubber is a simple vase of wild flowers set on a table in a field of green. I used a die, My Favorite Things Freshly Picked, bought in 2020 and still unused in my stash! These layered dies are a lot of work if you are cutting bits of paper, though the end result is lovely. Next time, I may try Copic-coloring and see if the result is acceptable. The assembled vase is set on a trimmed A2 panel with a white embossed sentiment from My Favorite Things Essential Sentiments.
The card is for a cardmaker friend of mine currently undergoing heart surgery this morning in Westchester... my love and prayers are continuous for her and her family.

This is super cute and perfect for our challenge! I'd love to know your secret for such clean embossing! Even when I use a static thingie, I still manage to get stray bits around my image! Anyway, so happy you shared this with us at Retro Rubber! I love those little flowers!

LeAnne... don't laugh I struggle with white embossing as well. I am puzzled how it always turns out perfect for KWerner. I always use the static bag but still have bits which I pick away with an exacto knife before heating. And if there are tiny open holes after heating, I filled them in with my POSCA paint pen (the greatest tool I have learned about in the last year!). Nice to hear that not all of us are Kristina!
