This week at Shopping Our Stash, we are working with SKETCHES. But not inspirational sketches, prescriptive sketches. This is not my cup of tea but I tried. I realize this means disqualification but I don't make 6"x4" cards. Lately I have attempted a few mini slimline cards but my preference is A2. I have a print shop precut every ream of Neenah that arrives at my house. So I modified the sketch to fit.
I made a new home card with sketch #3. I covered the card base with an atlas page of the area where my friends are moving. Die cut an 1/8" strip for the right hand border. Stamped and Copic-colored an image from Inky Antics (Packed Box) and a sentiment from Rubber Moon on scrap cardstock. The scrap was trimmed to as close to 2x2" as possible, and backed with a piece of colored cardstock.
Thanks.

I don't make 6 X 4 cards often either, I haven't even made a mini slimline. In a sketch challenge I think as long ans you see the sketch all is good. And this is fantastic!!! What a great idea to use the map of where your friends are moving they will LOVE it. Thanks for getting Sketchy with us at Shopping Our Stash.
oh my gosh! this is such a wonderful card, such a fun and personal card for a new home; and of course an excellent take on the sketch! thanks for SHOPPING YOUR (sketchy!) STASH with us this time!
