This month at
The Flower Challenge, our cards are featuring
CAS (Clean & Simple) florals. I love how this mini shaker turned out. I die cut Paper Rose's Little Foliage Circle from my A2 base card. Reinserted and secured the die cut into the open circle created by the original cut. The open die cut was then backed with a transparency. A separate A2 white panel was covered in Scortape, and in the area where the open die cut would appear, I sprinkle microfine glitter in red, orange and yellow over the tape. The panel, already covered in Scortape, adhered easily to the back of the card base. So neat and easy! No glittery mess. I love it. As a final touch I added a white embossed sentiment from Simon Says Tiny Words Birthday.
Enjoy.

Such a gorgeous CAS card! love the pretty background and how the white flowers stand out so well too. Thanks for sharing with us over at 'The Flower Challenge' ;) Viv DT xx
I love this and what a clever way to get a glitter background without glitter everywhere. I bet the shine is pretty amazing xx
Just happened upon this lovely at The Flower Challenge, Elizabeth! Birthdays and glitter aren't my thing - but I sure like what you've done with them! Perfectly CAS, and oh so pretty!
